Avignon is a the main city located at about 710 km south of Paris From Paris airport.
From Paris airport (Charles de Gaulle):
Taking the train is the easiest way to get to Avignon (TGV) - It is direct and will take you 2h40. The train station is located at the airport.
You can reserve your seats and buy your tickets directly from the SNCF website (booking open about 1 month earlier). You have the option of reserving your seats via the web, and paying for your tickets later, at the station. There are trains every 2 to 3 hours Once in Avignon, it will take you about 10 min to get to Villeneuve les Avignon by car.
From the center of Paris: Take a train to Avignon (TGV) from Gare the Lyon.
